I got 4 Sapphire Gems at Tractor Supply this morning. 3 seem fine except for a little pasty butt on one. The 4th is eating & drinking but opening & closing mouth. Suggestions?

Thank you for your reply. I don't have either of the things you suggested but you gave me hope. I took her out of nursery coop & brought her into my bathroom. I wrapped her in a cloth put her in a rubbermaid shoe tote with a heating pad over it & placed those both into a larger box. I made up sugar water water with a few drops of vet rx mixed in & fed her by dropper every 2 hours through night. I also put a couple drops saline on her eyes each time. This morning she was doing much better & I put water & food in with her. Checked on her & she's still doing well. Thank you so much for your help. The behavior you described suggests the chick may be stressed and/or may have gotten chilled during her time at TSC. Do you have a supplement like Sav-A-Chick or Poultry Nutri-Drench you can offer her? I'd try to keep them calm, quiet, and (appropriately) warm so they can decompress. Best of luck!
