Chick Starter Feed Help

Would a chick starter crumble that is 19% in protein be OK for my chicks if I give them extra protein such as boiled eggs.

Any other suggestions for protein and how much to feed them extra protein.

The feed alone will be just fine. Here, chicken starter is 18% and my chicks thrive.

I agree with CT Ken. If these are strictly broilers, that is the only reason I can think of for upping the percentage to 22. But if egg layers or dual purpose, 18 is just fine.
