Chick starter feed

Hello everyone! I had a question about feeding baby chicks. Can chick starter feed go stale if it stays in a chick feeder for a few days?

The feeder is 1 quart and about 4 days.

I doubt it if it is that small. If you are worried, maybe only fill it part way every 2 days? The air wouldn’t really hit it if it is in a container.

A few days should be fine. I would expect a week or two to also be fine.

As long as it's not being rained on, being in the feeder isn't that much different than being stored in a bag

I agree. I keep my chicken's food in their feeder longer than a couple days. Just had chicks hatch and they had food in their feeder for a few days before I replenished.
