Chick starter feed...

on the tag it says to stop feeding the (medicated?) feed at 22 weeks of age, which is at 5.5 months. Is this right?? By that time they will be almost laying, and full grown without a doubt. Can I switch them off before that age? Thanks.

when they are about to start or start laying you go to layer feed

When it's close to the 20 week mark I just think like this, Am I going to go through another bag of starter? If not I go ahead and switch them over.
