chick stuck to egg HELP

I want to thank everyone for all the help!

i have about 60 coturnix chicks running around happy because of all the great help and info on BYC.

Most everyone hatched yesterday.

I have one that just hatched about 30 mins ago. He was really wet. And now he or she is walking around the bator with the egg stuck to its butt by a little gooey thing.

Do i need to cut it / pull it off or just leave him in there till he/she gets it off?

Update he finally got it off by him self but now it looks like he has a minor case of spraddle legs.

I was thinking of doing something like this with him.
