Chick walking on hocks

My chick is walking on its hocks. It’s like her feet (which are huge!) will not support her. Thoughts?

Almost definitely a niacin deficiency that will get worse unless you give her Vitamin B drops or poly-vi-sol (without iron). This deficiency seems to randomly affect one chick per brood in my experience. I always have poly-vis-ol or vit B drops in my chicken first aid kit.

You can also get human B complex tablets which contain riboflavin at walmart for about $6. Those help treat riboflavin deficiency which causes walking on hocks or curled under toes. Crush the tablet and add to a spoonful of water, then give her 1/4 of a tablet daily with a dropper.
