Chick with blood around ear

One of my 4 day old chicks has blood around her ear area. It appears the bleeding has stopped but I have no idea what caused it. I tried to remove as much of the dried blood as I could and am going to keep an eye out to make sure the other chicks dont mess with it but I'm not sure where I'll put her if they are bothering her. Anyone have any suggestions about what may have caused it and how to heal it?

Something mustve attracted the others to pick/peck on that particular area of your chick. You can put a little dab of neosporin on it to keep it from getting infected. If she continues to get picked on, you might have to seperater the chick til the area heals. Keeping an eye on her is a good idea.
