I have a 6 week old Silkie chick that started limping and after examining, the only thing I could find was that one of the toes is crooked and wonk bend. Should I try to adjust it?? Any other ideas of what it could be?

it’s the last toe that looks twisted and almost like it’s bent the wrong way? The chick doesn’t react at all when I’m touching it. There is also a very small scrape near that toe.

I’m not an expert in chickens but I’ve heard that breeds that have extra toes tend to have trouble because they catch them on things fairly easily. Broken toes can be splinted with some tape and a popsicle stick, but sometimes they’re always just a little crooked.
