Chick with duck feet

I was taking pics of my chicks this AM and one had duck feet. (Both feet.) It is throwing off her walk so I will take clippers to her. She is the brown Jubile orpington mix.

Cutting the web will greatly increase the chicks mobility. The duller the scissors the less the bleeding.

Maybe I didn't have enough heat.

Clipped, just a dap of blood, not enough for the other chicks to notice. She went back to eating right away.

I believe it is a recessive hereditary condition.
