chick with injured eye? :-/

One of my two-day old chicks seems to have a slightly swollen left eye, he's keeping it closed most of the time but can open it briefly.

He was fine this morning - could he have gotten pecked in the eye by a sibling?

I thought he had pasty butt this morning and wiped with a moist cloth, pulled off some dried poop, accidentally tugged on his umbilical cord scab as I'm a giant idiot and didn't know what it was... it bled a bit, poor thing... and his bottom looked a bit swollen after that. I did locate the vent and it seems fine.

He up and acting no different from the other 4 chicks, eating and peeping - should I worry?

His eye is TINY!

If it is infected (if there is no change tomorrow), what should I do?

I have 31 Jg chicks in the brooder and I got 3 lil yellow packing Pnuts in the shipment. one of my Jg chick must have a problem with the yellow chicks. He chases them all over and I think he is trying to peck their eyes out. None of the others do it. they are only 4 days old. I told my DW I may have to cull him already! I hate too. but if he is already starting to go bad. I will just watch and see if he calms down after they have been there a while. the 20 chicks just arrived from Ideal and the other 14 I hatched 2 days before. I wish I had some better advice. I just would watch and see if it gets better. If not I read that they do have poultry eye drops at some local feed stores. Not sure where or what. Sorry! I wish I could help! At least here is a bump!
