We got new chicks from our local feed store on Saturday. They were delayed 24hrs in delivery. One seems to have a leg with no strength. The bottom of the foot pad is like a small ball and the knee joint seems a little swollen. It hops/flops around but only if forced to. Otherwise it just stays put. I've been giving it water and food by putting it right in front of it but I don't know if it's going to it on it's own. The bad leg sticks out slightly to the side so I put on little hobbles for splay leg but I'm not sure that's really the case. It just seems to have no strength or won't put weight on the one leg. Any suggestions and ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

If it is only one bad leg then it could be a slipped tendon. Pictures would help.
