Hello All. So I hatched some chicks from my flock. This was my first time doing this and it has been a really great experience. All the babies are BYM from my rooster and hens. My rooster is a BLRW and my hens are all different breeds. I noticed a few of the chicks have light color toes and dark legs. I am curious if this is common and if this coloration will always be there? I really like the way it looks.
I tried to get a picture of one of them. Little buggers are really hard to get good pictures of! This little one came from an Ameracauna momma.

Common in some blue and even black variations. Chick leg/feet coloring is not final. They will change as they mature into adults. My guess is you will have grey legs at the end.
