I noticed one of my 8 wk old Black Copper Marans having trouble walking when I was doing coop care. It's seemed somewhat disoriented, walked some-pigeon toe, crossing it's feet as it tried to walk. Standing, it is unsteady, using its wings to balance. Further examination showed the rt leg weak, no resistance to pushing on it, lt leg with good strength. Has some food in its crop, has not had apparent problems up to now. No visible signs of injury, no respiritory symptoms. Seems alert(although somewhat confused), chirping. No obvious wt loss.Currently being treated with Corid, also have ACV in the water. It is in the 80's and very humid today. Any thoughts? Hoping NOT Mareks.
