Chick Won’t Walk🥺

Hey y’all. So I’ve got a little bitty, only a week and a hand full of days old and she was perfectly fine coming home. About three days old she was living her fullest, running full spirit, not a problem!!! Suddenly when I checked the brooder Tuesday night (she’s a day from a week old atp) she’s not walking. At all. I take her out and she stands but yelps. Now she’s trying to spend all her time under the brooder plate and I’m having to take her out to feed and water. She eats fine and drinks fine, when I’m holding her or she’s standing on the floor. But as soon as she’s in the brooder, back to waddling and straight to the brooder plate where she stays. I really have no idea what’s going on. Given electrolysis for a couple days and it’s not doing any good. Even tried splinting her legs, not a difference. I’m absolutely stumped

She yelps? What's that like?

Could she have fallen or suffered some type of injury?

Is she with other chicks?

You're taking her out to feed and water her, she's not able to move to food/water at all?
