First time hatching and the last egg in this batch seems to be having some issues! As much as I want to help, I don't want to do more harm than good, so can you please tell me if this is ok or if I need to help!? I can see her little beak popping up and down, but she hasn't made any progress for awhile! What is the best thing to do here?

Or search for it on here, if it’s been over 24 hours since it pipped put a tiny bit of oil (not near the beak) on the membrane the see if the blood vessels have receded. The oil makes the membrane clear, if there are no blood vessels you can proceed in helping. If the blood vessels are still present put it back and check again in a few hours

If it’s zipped that far it’s probably ready to come out. It could’ve got stuck to the membrane and got malpositioned before zipping. I check for vessels then assist if they’re stuck and vessels receded. I’ve had dried membranes on eggs directly below the fan even when the humidity is high

Ok, it has been less than 12 hours since it pipped, so I think I am going to wait it out a bit longer..Just concerned with her zipping down the egg instead of around the top, and the discoloration of the membrane had me a little worried as well..thank you for your input! :)

In your opinion, could she potentially finish hatching on her own, even if it seems she may have gotten malpositioned?
