Does anyone else have a chicken that sometimes appears lame after sandbathing? A few times now,a chicken has been disturbed during sandbathing and not able to stand or walk properly for a few mins. I've even had one try and stand up then fall over and literally roll down the hill. That was several months ago. Today,another chicken heard a bird call,got a fright and jumped up but couldn't seem to straighten his legs and he hobbled around till he managed to shake himself out and then he was fine again.
