My leghorn that’s around 8 months old and has been with the flock her entire life, has now started to hide and sleep in the nesting box and I had found her this morning hiding in the corner tucked behind a shovel as to not be picked on. When I moved her out she started getting bullied so I put her back and gave her some food and water which she drank. Not sure if she’s sick or being bullied too much. She does seem pale and a little wonky while walking but eating and drinking fine. Any tips on what this could mean would be appreciated

It's hard to know what is wrong from the description, but you could try poultry vitamins/probiotics for a boost. Does she have adequate calcium? You can check if her crop is full when she goes to bed, and it should be empty before she gets up.

I believe they can get sick from bullying, but it's much more often they get bullied because they are sick. (Maybe the others are afraid of catching something.) She probably wants to be where she can see and hear her friends, but they aren't close enough to touch.

Please keep us updated how she's doing.
