We recently moved our 7 new pullets into our outdoor coop with our 2 1-year-old chickens and they aren't happy about it. Recently, one of our big chickens has been acting strange and we don't know if she's just upset by the pullets or is sick. She has been a little broody lately and spends most of the early morning laying her egg, we think she likes to sit on it for a long time after she lays it. Today she started making a sound I have never heard a chicken make before. She makes the noise quite frequently and it sounds like a sad or discontent "waah." Should I be concerned? Or is she just getting used to the pullets?
