Chicken alert, tail downwards and not moving

So yesterday afternoon as I was giving out treats, everyone but this girl was rooted in her spot. Not moving at all, but eyes alert. I managed to coax her out using a shovel gently, and I brought her inside. Checked her crop, tipped her slightly forward, crop flat, no smelly liquid oozing out. So, I thought egg bound. I soaked her in 100 degrees water for about 30 minutes with Epsom salt. Then, I towel dried her and then blow dried her. Force fed her 1 ml of Nutri Drench to the sides of her mouth. Let her sleep swaddled in dry towel through the night. Massaged her right side of body under wing and she tensed up each time. So I let her sleep, this morning when I found her, she was already gone. Poor girl. I thought I have done everything to help her. Maybe I should have let her stay longer in the warm bath? I really want to ask suggestion as what I should have done, where did I go wrong? So very very sad, my pretty Miss Align. Rest in peace. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I checked her vent, and it looked clean no pasty butt. I also inserted my lubed finger with grapeseed oil and she kind of pooped white poop. I also inserted a syringe filled with grapeseed oil into her vent, thinking that would help her.

Sorry for your loss. She may have suffered from a reproductive disorder such as egg yolk peritonitis or cancer. If you still have her body you could place it in clean plastic bags and in the refrigerator or inside a cooler on ice, but don’t freeze it. That way in the an you could call your state vet for a necropsy, and you can take it in or ship it overnight. Some do home necropsies to look at the abdominal organs and take pictures to post here for opinions. Here is a list of state vets to contact:
