Here is what I think is one of our Americana breed? She is showing the recent enlargement that I'm assuming is connected to winter 'pig out' so discribed above. Same girl both pics.

The following are a few other hens that also have started to show the winter bulge (as I like to call it now). It seems rather logical to see this as such given it's timely appearance on several girls.

Here is what I think is one of our Americana breed?

Eater Egger.

Have had one bird with a pendulous crop...was a light brahma,
that sucker would swing side to side when she ran
She never appeared to suffer from her bulging 'grocery bag'.
Can't remember if I investigated it much when she finally went to freezer camp.
