Chicken ate Head Band - the large kind

This afternoon she is running around as normal, just have to wait and see I guess. It was extremely hot and humid this morning and as she has never been as big and buxom as the rest of my girls, maybe she had heat exhaustion (?).

I have put a capful of Apple Cider Vinegar into their water because I was told that was a good pick-em-up for chickens. They went bonkers for a drink - funny.

Time will tell, I will just keep a close eye on her.

I will keep you posted on events - as they happen.

Another update.

She is still going strong. I have given up looking for the head band. She is still 'little miss skinny' but seems healthy enough, just not as buxom as the rest of my girls.


Mind you she uses her slim build to her advantage. She manages to squeeze through the gaps in the fence, onto the patio, which the other girls are too large for. So maybe she watchs her weight on purpose????

For anyone who has read this post and given some very good advice, I thought I would let you all know that my 'little skinny miss' is still perfectly well and thriving. I tell you what I sometimes wish i had a stomach like hers after I have eaten a dodgy curry.
