Chicken ate her own poop

So its not like she pooped and turned around and thought it was dinner, but..
I noticed her in a squat position and a clump of poo coming out of her rear. It was dangling apparently due to a hair she had ingested (they peck my hair sometimes). Anyway she reaches back and grabs the poo and removes it then just gobbles it. Repeated x2 until the hair and poo session was done.
I guess she is about to repeat this since she ate the hair again--anyway it was gross.
Has anyone seen a hen eat her own poo before??

You may want to tie your hair back and not allow them to eat your hair, it can get wrapped around tongues, toes and feet.

Chickens eat poop, thems the facts, so yeah.
