I was on the side of our road with my 11 1/2 month old Orpington this evening, she was foraging in the clovers and grass. I totally forgot I spit out a piece of Extra sugar-free watermelon chewing gum that I chewed all the flavor from a few minutes earlier...my bird found where I spit and was eating it and she had no trouble swallowing it, it was too late to rip it from her mouth. Should she be okay??? An hour or two after she seemed fine, doing her tricks (she knows 20!) and taking treats, being her normal spunky self. Should I be worried?
