We finished the outside of our coop today. We call it the chicken barn because of the paint job. My husband made it from garden shed plans and expanded it a bit to use pre-cut studs. It's 10x10, with 8-foot walls. Haven't done anything with the interior yet, although I'm collecting wide branches from some trees we're taking out for roosts.
The pop door is going to go near the people door. It still needs a screen door, as I'm worried about it getting too hot during the day. In the photo, I'm standing about where the yard fence will be; they'll have quite a lot of room but it won't be a covered run.
