Not sure if this is the right feed. My chickens are 7.5 weeks old. Why are they not going on the roost. At night they crawl all over each other and huddle in the corner on top of each other. I do have about 4 that roost out of 26. However the rest make a pile on top of each other. I have attempted to show them the roost

Without an adult flock to show them what to do, it takes longer for chicks to learn how to roost. I've had occasions where it's taken them up to age 16 weeks for them to figure things out! You can try to speed up the process by going out after bed time and putting them on the roost yourself.

Please post pics of your coop showing roosts....might have some ideas.

I started to do that last night . Put them up they jump down I put them back up
Got to do it well after dark, with a dim flashlight pointed up.

I've had 3 litters (?) of chicks hatch and get integrated into my flock and coop. Each time they did the same huddling in a corner behavior. It lasted a couple months. Eventually, they find their way into the flock and onto the roosts.

Meanwhile, is there a problem with it? If it gives them some comfort why interrupt the behavior?

No problem I am afraid they will crush each other
