Could anyone pinpoint what type of chicken breed this may be? She is bantam sized and has greenish legs. I’ve had her since she was a chick and she is quite close to laying age now. Very curious, if anyone can throw me a strong guess!

Thanks

Where did you get her?

If she came from a store or hatchery in the USA, I think she is most likely a bantam Easter Egger (expected to lay blue or green eggs but some individuals lay brown instead, feathering can be pretty much any color, green legs and pea combs are common.)

Otherwise, I would think she's a mix of some kind, but I wouldn't try to predict egg color or what breeds went into the mix.

I got her from a nearby farm so it sounds like a barnyard mix is definitely possible. She is very docile and timid, but one of my favorites of the flock. Interested to see what color egg she puts out.

Thanks for the input!

Yes, barnyard mix does sound most likely in that case. Once she starts laying, I'd like to hear what color her eggs are, because I'm curious too.
