I was trying to think of all the chicken breeds that were named for states or places in the United States.

Are there more than these?

Buckeye (Ohio)
California Grey
Delaware
Iowa Blue
Jersey Giant (New Jersey)
New Hampshire
Plymouth Rock (Massachusetts)
Rhode Island Red and White

Well, I thought of the California White, but I did not include it because it is a hybrid and not a breed.

The California White is a cross between a White Leghorn hen and a California Grey rooster.

I suppose for this purpose it is alright, though. Thanks.

Good point...hopefully you can think of some more!

I can't think of any more.

The only other breed I can think of that is close is the Wyandotte, but that breed was named after the Wyandotte Indian tribe in New York.
