Chicken clucking all night

Howdy guys! Last night one my neighbors hens was making what sounded like distress calls long after chicken bedtime. After about an hour of cackling I walked down to the property line to check on them. I couldn't see anything obvious...but I also didn't want to be THAT neighbor. Eventually the nighbor came out and shut off their perimeter lights. The chicken continued to vocalize all night and is still doing it this morning. The neighbors have left for the day. Any thoughts?

it could mean a snake or some thing alse that eats eggs or chickens is in the coop
look for holes or any other way something could get in around the coop

Who knows what's giong on in there......too bad the neighbor is not taking care of whatever the problem is.
