Chicken Coop Flooring

what would be the best design for making cleaning the floor of a chicken coop easier. I was thinking of maybe a floorboard that i could slide out and clean or somthing or maybe 1 inch spacing in floor the floor boards the droppings could drop down through the cracks?? any good ideas????

alot of people use lenolium for easy cleaning. i wish i had found a scrap when i built mine. maybe this spring when i do a clean out

Definitely as BL said- linoleum is great from what I have read.

A poop board (search BYC for this if you wish too) is good in that you can scrape it off without having to change out your shavings. Daily or when you wish. It goes under the roosts.
