Chicken coop in the making

I started with a simple idea that turned into a lot of hard work. Built on a brainstorm maybe someone can borrow a few ideas from this coop. All I've got left to do is the metal roof, roosts, and nest boxes

Yeee aaaahhh..... I hear ya. LOL

MY coop was supposed to be.. oh.. a couple hundred dollars.. pft. After the first trip to the lumber store, I thought.. hey.. why not build the bigger original plan. It'll only be a couple more pieces of ply wood and a few more 2 x 4s.

I love it tho. Pics coming soon. It looks like yours is about the same size? 8' x 8'?

Yeah mine is just a 10x8 built on sleds so I can pull it around with my four wheeler. That hardest part of all was getting it braced well so it would be sturdy enough for the moving.

looks like you have a good start! Ours is still a work in progress, and more expensive than I anticipated also!
