Hello everyone. I'm new in the chicken forum but figured like every other forum it's a great place for ideas, answers and suggestions. I'm building a 5' x 6' Chicken coop, one 6' long wall is 6' tall and the other 6' long wall is 5'f tall. I want ideas as to where the nesting boxes should be, inside the coop or hanging off the back? My original plan was to have the 6' tall wall be the front with a small chicken door entering out to the chicken run, a couple windows on that wall as well. I've seen some folks build nesting boxes right about the chicken door. On the side wall it's 5' long with a tapered roof, that will have a door big enough for me too go inside the coop. I'm toying with the idea of maybe having the 6' tall wall as the back wall and building the nesting boxes so the hang off that wall and the 5' would be the front with windows and a chicken door, still leaving the big door on the tapered height wall. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
