Hi, I haven't posted anything in a long time but I was wondering you opinion on this. We have a coop and run already but we thought the chickens needed more time on the grass. None of us can be out with them all the time, also there are tons of predators around. We couldn't afford something like electronet and so my mom thought we might somehow get the chickens in a seperate pen on the grass in the daytime and put back in the coop at night.

Has this ever been done before?
Was it successful?
Can Chickens be controlled enough for it to work well?
