I am from new jersey my chics are one month old they are in a coop how hot should it be to day was to hot?
 
Welcome to BYC!!! I'm from Jersey too. As long as theyb have some place shady to go, i think they are okay in this weather. They weren't panting or anything, right? I have chicks that are 2.5 wks and they loved being outside today, I just had a shady spot for them and made sure the water stayed clean and fresh.
