Chicken Crazy Canberran from AUSTRALIA

Hi there,
I have been waiting two years for my chickens (hubby and father in-law built the coop for my Bday back then) and now finally I have a Silkie rooster (it's funny when I read rooster abbrev. To roo because that's Aussie slang for kangaroo, two female silki's, a trouble maker ugly bantam named Gruella and a pretty bantam named, Meow( as she definitely has more than nine lives).

Looking forward to learning and discussing our feathered friends.

You will probably start say roo too once you have been here for awhile. I remember another Aussie member posted a funny story about how his friends looked at him like he was crazy because he said he was going to eat his "roo" for dinner.
