chicken egglaying?

One of my chickens just started laying eggs and she layed two in a row but hasn't layed any today. Is that bad or do they lay every other day usually?

Depending upon the breed and age of the chicken there is great variability in how frequently they lay. This is especially true of young pullets at the beginning of their laying cycle. If everything else appars normal, there is nothing to worry about.
