chicken envy

i am getting quite jealous of all the beautiful birds i keep seeing pictures of around here. my flock of buff orpingtons, barred rocks and ISA browns isn't bad by any means, but there are some amazingly pretty birds out there. i am planning on ordering a random mix of 15 chicks next week, so hopefully there will be some nice variety there. i want a mixed, multicolor flock running around my backyard

I like a mixed flock as well. I only have 2 different breeds now, but I hope to get some different breeds this summer

Mixed flocks are the best! Lots of color, beautiful feathers, and lots of fun watching them run around!
