What an adorable girl! Maybe a bee sting. I've seen a few threads like this where the owner of the chicken is super worried that their chicken has something crazy like fowl coryza or something like that, and I say "maybe a bee sting?" and the person says, "on second thought, there are hornets around the feeder." Well that explains a lot.....lol. But if it gets progressively worse, then it could be something else.

I think if she were my chicken I’d check her eye for debris and then rinse with saline. If you have any plain neosporin (without pain relief) or terramycin ointment you could apply that to her eye.

If you see a sting or puncture hole, or are leaning more towards a sting/bite or allergy you can give Benadryl. Dosage: https://poultrydvm.com/drugs/benadryl

I have children’s Benadryl it would be 2mg? Or 4?

The dosage is 2-4 mg per kg or every 2.2 pounds. You could try 1/2 of a 25 mg Benadryl tablet given orally once. If it looks better today and swelling is down, you could hold off on the Benadryl.
