Chicken Farmers

:welcome

Your temps are fine for the chickens, they have those nice insulated feathers to keep them warm.

Is it possible the bare spots on one of your birds is due to pecking? If they're crowded, they will pick on each other.

Best wishes, thanks for joining us!
They have a 6X8 coop and a 10x10 fenced area. They have plenty of room, now all of hens have bare spot under their wings towards the back. We have started treating for mites and such. I hope this fixes the problem??

They will grow the fine feathers back. If they lost a lot of main feathers then that takes until the next moult.
Mites are hard to get rid of. Many use spinosad to get rid of them and you often have to treat repeatedly for a month or so.
