Chicken Feed / Rabbit Feed

Well I got some rabbits to start breeding for meat. One thing I was thinking was that I could mix some of their complete pellets with my chickens both egg and meat for winter so they are getting greens.

Does anyone know if this is doable and if it will or will not cause issues for the birds. And maybe a ration to mix with feed?

I have done this. I was told not to let the rabbit pellets excede 5% of their total feed intake. I have my feed mill put alfalfa meal in my feed, which does the same thing.

I throw a handful or pellets in once in a while as a treat. (I also give them the crumbs from the bottom of the dog and cat food bags)
