I have a flock of 25 laying hens and would like to mix my own feed. I have all of the ingredients below available. Does anyone have any suggestions on what rations to use. Here is what I was thinking. (I want to use as much flaxseed as possible but I've seen that more than 10% is not a good idea.)
Also what kind of vitamin pack would I need to add. I've seen Fertrell's Nutri-Balancer on alot of sites but not much about any other brands or options?
- CORN 41%
- BEAN MEAL 30%
- OATS 10%
- WHOLE FLAXSEED 10%
- LIMESTONE 8.5%
- SALT 0.5%
