what is a good chicken feed brand to feed to breeding hens.

It all depends on where you are, do you plan to buy from a feed mill or the local Tractor supply. You say breeding hens, are they already laying??

I have the local feed store mix up some of their version of layena. Its considerably cheaper and the chickens like it. If theres not a feed store maybe a co-op? Hope this helps.
