OMG you don't have chickens, it sounds like you have the garden variety velocirraptors XD! Chickens are so funny about food, some time ago one of our pullets got into the house while we were eating breakfast. My younger niece took one of her pancakes and dangled it in front of Godzilla (the pullet), to lure her out... and that worked, except that Godzilla jumped and stole the pancake as they were getting out of the door. then you have 4 chickens and an 8-year-old running around trying to get the pancake lol.
