I seriously think this is a never-ending thing now. I am definitely a poultry addict. We started off with three chicks. Now we have 18 chicks. Out of those, we brought home eight today. We also have 7 ducks now. We got 4 Rhode Island Reds. I think they're a month old. We got two unknown bantams. I think they're about 4 months old. Does anyone remember those Silkie chicks I wanted so badly? I bought two of them today. They're less than a week old. We're going to go back for probably 5-10 Leghorns. We couldn't get them today because they're like $15 a piece. The guy who owns them has pretty steep prices. He wanted to charge me $7 a piece for less-than-a-week old Silkie chicks! We got half grown chicks for the same price! He ended up giving them to me for $5 a piece. That's still way more than they cost at the Co-op. We're planning on trying to double our size because our rooster-hen ratio is a little out of whack.

my husband would probably divorce me if i bring home any more chickens or any other animal....

We're going to get nine more hens, too. We just have to wait a few days for our pocketbooks to recover. xP
