I have 3 Buff Orpington chicks....about a month to 5 weeks old. Today 2 of them were fighting like someone threw them into a ring for a match. Is that normal behavior? I didnt have this issue with my White Leghorns. I am not sure if the Buffs are all pullets yet, but would pullets do this as well?

i have about 50 pullets 2 weeks old in the brooder together and just today i noticed 3 of them had blood on their tails not from their poop choot but from the base of the feathers after some investigation i noticed i had a feather plucker in the bunch i took her out and problem solved i said that to get to this i had a chick yesterday grab another one by the leg and drag it about 4 or 5 inches and they brawl all the time so its natural for them to fight but if its causing injuries they might need to be separated

No injuries yet.....more like jumping at each other with their claws or jumping on each other....and then doing a stare down. Like I said though, I didnt have this issue with my Leghorns, and they are all girls....so that made me think are these 2 that are doing this roo's?

roos are not always aggressive like they are made out to be i have 4 in the brooder together and they are the passive skittish ones the pullets are the ones that are always fighting and being mean to each other

In my pics folder titled Our Birds are 3 new pics of them close up. Need help with identifying the sex of them.
