I went to town today with my neighbor and her two elementary age daughters to do a little shopping and just poking around town. We stopped in a small mom and pop restaurant to grab a bite for lunch and my friend asked the girls what they wanted to eat. They said they didnt know so mom was making some suggestions off the menu and asked the girls if they would like some fried chicken fingers.
The girls looked at one another with the most surprised looks on their face and then at their mom; together they wrinkled up their noses and said euwwwwww!!!
She and I started laughing and about fell out of our seats. It never dawned on us that the girls would think fried chicken feet. Having been raised around chickens they didnt want to eat any of those nasty things.
