Chicken Food plant - Anyone know what it is?

ok so July 2011 Pedro was born. that's my Rooster. well i got really attached to him so i got him some women and they like the plants better than the seeds of their chicken food.
it also seems to keep them healthier.

So now i grow most of my own food and their food too. well now this plant keeps showing up in my little green houses where i plant their food and i dont know what it is. but they will gulp it down in a heat beat. so does anyone know what this is





it seems to me to be some kind of bean but im not sure. so if someone knows let me know.

Its some type of snow pea. I have peas that looks just like that. They are the flat type of peas you find in the supermarket.

excellent. thanks alot. my chickens love them and they apparently are very easy to grow so i really appreciate it.
