I have read a bunch of the old forums on how chicken genetics work. I get the basics but I just crossed eAster eggers and an ISA brown with a Jersey Giant roo. All the chicjs except 1 looks identical to a Jersey Giant chick. The one that doesnt is gray (i think its techinally blue). I was hoping with te Easter Eggers I would get some fun coloring. Is there a chance when they start feathering that they will all look different like the hens that laid them or is that not how it works?
