chicken growth

My chicks are 3 1/2 weeks old and some are almost feathered and 3 barly have feathers on the wings but still the same size. Is this normal??

yes, totally normal. You have a few different breeds, and they all grow feathers at different rates. You also have indiviual variations on growth rate.

One of my Silkies sat on and hatched 4 chicks. 2 of them were barredrock/wyandott cross, and 2 were N.H Rd/wyandott cross. The same day they hatched I stopped at tractor supply and picked up 10 day old leghorns they had there.

Its been almost 3 weeks since the 14 new birds appeared at my house...and the Leghorns are almost 3 times the size of the ones hatched by my silkie...yet they are all pretty close to the same age....almost to the day.
