I've been keeping my baby Silkie indoors for a few days to help tame it.
It's already super friendly, and he seems to love the attention he gets.

I've read a little about "chicken harnesses," and I was wondering about them.
I'm assuming it's for a tame, pet chicken, so the chicken doesn't mind?
Or what about the little diapers? Chickens don't mind them?

Well, I was thinking of testing out a old harness I had from a pet rat years ago.
I just started by laying the harness across, Cloud, my silkie's back.
He didn't seem to mind, but it looks a tad big? Would this harness work for a couple weeks, while he's young?

Is there a place online where I can purchase a chicken harness and/or diaper?
What about sizes?

Help please!

I made my own harness, but it was for an adult hen, not a sweet baby like yours. We were at a fair, and the temps were in the 100's, so I felt the need to take my girls out of their cages and put them in the shade. My NH Red did not like it and tried to run away, but my Buff Orph walked around in it like she had been doing it all her life. My daughter had a leash attached to it and she just walked right along with her. It was quite funny and cute.

I made it out of a soft flannel belt that I had. There was a piece that went around the neck. Another piece went around the belly. They attached under the tail to the bottom of the neck piece, and at the top of the neck piece. It was adjustable. Easy to make. A small cat harness may work also. (For when she gets big, or course)
Good luck.
