Chicken has been laying concerning eggs

My chicken has been laying shell less eggs for the past couple of months and today we found this one, some days she will lay a normal egg but it is now rare for her to do so and we are not sure whats going on with her. Other than the weird eggs, the chicken has been acting completely normal and does not seem lethargic.

Give her a calcium citrate +D3 tablet every evening for a week and see if that helps. The bottle may say 600 mg, but that is "per serving," and a serving is actually two caplets. But we have found that one caplet (+/- 300 mg) seems to help in these cases. It may be that even though your hen is ingesting calcium from her feed or from oyster shell, her body is not absorbing it properly. The Vit D in these caplets seems to help, and the extra calcium may jump-start her system. Just pop it in her beak, she can swallow it no problem (she can swallow a whole MOUSE no problem, lol!).
